As we near the third phase of the relaxation of the lockdown rules, we are still in a position of uncertainty.
We will without doubt re-open when we are allowed to do however all our customers must recognise that this will be with new procedures and restrictions in place. We have already submitted a potential risk assessment based on current guidelines, we await further guidance from the government and North Tyneside Council on what this means for the opening of the gym facility.
Until we are in a position to re-open the gym, all our usual Standard Gym, GymPlus and FlexiPass memberships are still currently suspended. When we do re-open the gym facility, we will prioritise all QFit Gym customers, past and present during the first inital weeks for bookings. This effectively means we will not accept any new members who have not previously registered with us until at least mid-August.
Those customers who still had credits on their memberships will not lose out, once we have an open date confirmed, we will be sending out an email to customers with a status update. Those customers whose membership has expird will be asked to pay up front before returning.
As some of you may be aware small group training is allowed outdoors with restricted numbers. We will be launching our NEW ‘Outdoor Bootcamp‘ from 14 July 2020. The 45 minute bootcamp session will require everyone to book and pay online prior to attending, we can not accept customers on the day without a booking.
We are also putting plans in place to commence with Personal Training sessions, these will take place outdoors on a 1:1 basis. This will require customers to to sign up online for a NEW PT Warrior membership package, this will be valid for 45 days and will allow you to book up to six 45minute PT sessions during that period.
All dates and time slots for the Bootcamp and the PT Warrior sesions are limited until we can assess the demand and staffing requirements. The slots MUST all be pre-booked online and paid for in advance, to find out more and register online please visit out ‘Booking Portal’ here
