
We are looking for young people aged from 14 to 17 who are interested in some work experience / placements with us here at the Qfit Gym.
We also have holiday clubs during school holidays for chiuldren aged 8to12years old. Those who sign up to the holiday clubs come with high expectations of taking part in a variety of sports, games, and activities. We want them to have fun and be supported during their time with us.
In the first instance you must use the application form below, we will not accept a CV as an application for this role.
If you are aged 14-16, you must ensure a parent or guardian completes the form or at the very least provide their full seperate names and contact details.
You will also be asked to confirm who you are, where you are currently studying, school, college etc if applicable and why we should consider you for our summer work experience programme.

Role: Volunteer sports club assistant

As a club support assistant, you should be reliable, outgoing, honest with plenty of energy and enthusiasm.
You will be supported each day by a qualified youth worker and coach, and you will learn how to plan, design, set up, deliver, and evaluate activities and events to keep young people active and engaged.
As a volunteer work placement you will work alongside and be supervised by qualified coaches. They will suppport you in your role and you will report directly to your lead coach each day.
The duties involved will vary and may include;
- Assisting to set up kit and equipment as required
- Support lead coaches in the delivery and supervision of activities
- Clear down, store away and clean any kit or equipment as directed
- Support young children in the activities, offering encouragement and advice where required
- Any ad-hoc duties as directed by the lead coach
You may also be offered the opportunity, where applicable, to assist within the gym facility once the holiday club activities are finished. The dutuies within this role are restricted to the office administration and observation only where staff are working with clients.
This will enable you to understand the various roles within coaching and the fitness industry to help you decide on where you may wish to seek further knowledge and work experience.
Role: Volunteer (expenses only)
Rate: Up to £25.00per week, on condition you complete a minimum 4xhours per day for four days
Applicant age: 14-18 years old
All payments for expenses shall be made via BACS within 7 days of completion of your work placement. Please be aware that Under 16s may only be offered the cost equivalent as a voucher
