This is a stay & play session, with the aim to provide parents with a new, affordable option to socialise with their baby and other parents alike.
Your child's early development will be encouraged by exploring varied sensory and play activities, and at the same time you get the opportunity to meet other parents, chill out and have a chat. There will be a variety of resources and play equipment to explore as well as music, story-telling, baby yoga and rhymes.
Interaction between parents / child is vital, and we will support you to develop and build a rewarding bond with your baby. Having like minded adults around you will also encourage social interaction and an opportunity for your baby to experience a new fun and magical environment.
We offer a drop-in stay and play session on a Monday afternoon from 12.45 until 14.00 during term time (except Bank/Hols).
All sessions will take place in the John Willie Sams activity hall, prams & buggies can be brought straight through.
All sessions will be facilitated by up to two fully qualified staff with over 13 years experince in early years provision. L3 NVQ in children's care, learning & development, SEND L3 diploma & child practitioner and experience in autism, child phsycology and who all hold enhanced DBS, first aid certificates and the session is covered under our public liability insurance.
We have a child safeguarding policy in place and our risk assessments for the sessions have been submitted to the council to hold on file.
This is not a childcare provision and parents must remain on site with their baby at all times, therefore there is no requirement for this group to register with OFSTED.
